What makes it different from other e-commerce? Borong Bareng provides collective buying feature which enables local manufacturers to sell their products online, without worrying about the production cost.

Collective buying feature gives manufacturers the ability to customize their Borongan such as production target, pre-order time, and other production strategies.

Customer can help each other to complete the target by making a purchase. If customers managed to achieve the production target, everyone in the Borongan will enjoy lower prices.

🎯 Challenge & Goal

Our team is given challenge to execute the idea of collective buying platform. After in-depth research, user interview, and survey, we found that many people enjoy cheaper price, but with the consideration of product quality and brand. But for some product category, many people didn’t care about the "brand".

💡 Solution

We developed a social commerce called Borong Bareng (borongbareng.com). A platform where people can enjoy cheaper prices and have good quality products from local manufacturers.
